RDR2-Tobiano American Paint
I tried to do a sliding stop and only managed to aggravate her. A newly acquired and unamused Amanda looks on.

Tobiano American Paint. Acquired: Mission. Availability: Spawns in the wild. Unnamed.
Health 3, Stamina 4, Speed 3, Acceleration 3.

The Tobiano caught my eye during a mission and she became my main horse for a while. We did the usual hunting and exploring until she was replaced by the Thoroughbred. After her, I decided any horse bonded past level 2 deserved a name but I didn't always stick to that.

RDR2-Blanket Appaloosa
Interesting place for horses to hang around.

Blanket Appaloosa. Acquired: Wild. Availability: Spawns in the wild. Name: Hudson.
Health 3, Stamina 4, Speed 3, Acceleration 3.

I got it into my head that I wanted to try an Appaloosa for a hunting companion. I wanted a Leopard Blanket but that one kicked the PC. I thought if we kept petting horses that they might calm easier when mounted but that didn't work so we tamed this one instead. He was soon christened with the highly original name Hudson. He bonded quickly but I changed my mind and decided that Hudson should go on a trip to capture the Perlino Andalusian. We were very worried about dangerous predators but arrived undisturbed. We switched to the Andalusian and whistled Hudson to follow. He got too close and the PC somehow managed to kick him. A lot of kicking problems with these Appaloosas. He ran off and it took a bit to soothe his hurt feelings. He continued to have problems following. That was likely due to various distractions along the way but I was convinced that he was holding a grudge. Hudson went to the fence, replaced by the congenial Bella.

RDR2-Leopard Blanket Appaloosa
April enjoying the scenery. Probably not.

Leopard Blanket Appaloosa. Acquired: Wild. Availability: Spawns in the wild. Name: April.
Health 3, Stamina 4, Speed 3, Acceleration 3.

Much later we captured our Leopard Blanket. This was horse number 6 acquired for Horseman Challenge 10. I knew we couldn't keep her because we had 4 horses to go but I couldn't bring myself to abandon her, unofficially named her April and brought her along which made no sense at all. We did get to ride her for a bit because the location we needed next was disrupted by a camper so we had to put in time until that location reset. I left her standing there with Champ, unsaddled and with no commands or instructions while we pursued our target. Inevitably, she despawned shortly after we bonded with the next new horse. Like what did I think was going to happen?

RDR2-Overo American Paint
I really like posing horses close to precipices.

Overo American Paint. Acquired: Wild. Availability: Spawns in the wild. Unnamed.
Health 3, Stamina 4, Speed 3, Acceleration 3.

Horse number 7 captured for Horseman Challenge 10. Also the horse that disappeared April. She didn't get a name but I decided to fast travel to Blackwater and sell her at the stable. We spawned in Blackwater and I could see her icon on the map but I couldn't figure out where she was. She had spawned on top of a high fence some distance behind us. I wasn't sure what to do. I just watched her tail swishing and her ears moving back and forth for a while. We accidentally bumped the fence and she came down on top of us. Clipped through us more like. Glitches haven't happened often but they sure are distracting when they do. We got sorted around, she got sold and we went looking for number 8.
